User Agreement

Following is a summary of the terms and conditions that apply to all purchases made from eCorner. Detailed Terms & Conditions and Usage Policy are available online - click here and eCorner has an extensive service level agreement available on line - click here .


1. Orders & Delivery:


All orders placed through this web site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by eCorner. Generally orders will be provisioned and fulfilled within one business day or if received out of business hours then the next business day.

eCorner may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to you. eCorner may refuse an order for any product at its sole discretion if it believes that the order contravenes eCorner’s Acceptable Usage Policy or might be a fraudulent order.


2. Termination, Renewals, Returns & Refunds


Unless otherwise specified in an agreed Work Order, your agreement for hosted online shop services (only Free, Small, Medium and Large shops) are contracted on a month to month or annual basis based on your billing selection. If you wish to terminate your contract after the initial month (for monthly billing) or year (for annual billing), you should give us written notice at least 30 days in advance and one full billing month plus any outstanding invoices will be payable prior to termination. Any payments made prior to cancellation will not be refunded.

For agreements entered into prior to 1 July 2019 or for any other shop package types (including Resellerate VAR packages, Flex and Enterprise shops or older shop packages), your agreement for hosted online shop services is for a minimum period of 12 months. If you wish to terminate your contract after the first 12 months you should give us written notice at least 30 days in advance and one full billing month plus any outstanding invoices will be payable prior to termination. Under these agreements a Cooling Off period of 30 days applies from the date the billing commences. Any payments made prior to cancellation will not be refunded.

Hosting and/or dedicated servers or virtual private servers with eCorner are for a minimum period of 24 months, or the term that is stipulated and agreed at the time the service was provided. If it is not terminated for an acceptable reason agreed to by eCorner Management then it automatically renews for further 12 month periods on each anniversary of you agreeing to its terms (i.e. the date you made your application).

Refunds are not available for SSL Certificates, Domain or email packages.

For dedicated hosting, ePages Enterprise licensing, professional services and virtual private servers (VPS) the terms of the Work Order agreed shall apply. If not otherwise stated in the Work Order, all eCorner agreements for the hosting and rental of an ePages store run for a period of 24 months and will automatically renew for a further 12 months on each anniversary, unless specifically agreed in writing and signed by both parties. Any cancellations must be made in writing 30 days prior to the end of the contract, and any outstanding fees for the remains of the contract must be paid in full within 14 days of the cancellation date.

For dedicated ePages software licences the terms of the applicable end user licence agreement will apply.

Any refunds that are required and agreed will be processed only to the same method used to make the order. This includes to the same credit card number / account if the payment was by credit card. In the event that the card is lost, stolen or cancelled eCorner may require confirmation from the card provider or issuing bank for any change.


3. Prices, Payment & Credit Card Information:


For each order, you must pay:

  • the applicable price for the relevant services confirmed by eCorner which may include a deposit related to the provision of Professional Services; and
  • the delivery and handling fee specified on the web site at that time if required; and
  • any applicable taxes such as Goods and Services Tax in Australia.

Your order and credit card details are safe and secure. All personal and credit card information provided to eCorner is encoded using the latest encryption protocol, as required under our PCI DSS compliance certification,  we only accept payments using the methods stated in the orders & payment section of this web site.

You credit card information will be processed by the payment provider that you select during the check-out process. All payment providers used by eCorner are PCI DSS Compliant. eCorner is also PCI DSS Compliant. YOu can find the most recent PCI Compliance certificate here. eCorner will not store your credit card data in our website or web servers.

Payment must be cleared before the services are dispatched unless you have approved credit facilities with eCorner.

eCorner maintains a Privacy Policy that defines what we will do with your personal information.

eCorner has the right to suspend any product, online store package, hosting service, virtual private server or software licence if the agreed monthly payments are not made on the payment date and within the payment terms.


4. Products and Services


Access to online store packages, Wagtail analytics, emails and domains will be delivered via email as soon as possible and at most on the next business day. SSL Certificates will be installed as soon as the certificate is approved by the certificate vendor. Virtual Private Servers, professional services and other software licences will be commissioned based on the Work Order that was signed with you and the project timeline.


5. Your Account


You agree to take responsibility for the safekeeping of your user name and password. You are liable if your user name or password is used by an unauthorised person. You agree to release and indemnify eCorner in connection with any use (whether authorised or unauthorised) of your user name or password. eCorner may suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.


6. Images and specifications


Images that are displayed on the eCorner websites are for informational and marketing purposes and do not represent the actual contents of a product or service. Please refer to the detail product description and the Additional Product Information for specifications. The features and functions of individual products may be changed or updated from time to time. eCorner will endeavour to notify each customer of changes or additions to features and services.


7. Privacy


eCorner will comply with eCorner's Privacy Policy. eCorner will not reveal your personal information to external organizations except for the purposes of fulfilling your order.


8. Liability


Any liability of eCorner in connection with goods or services supplied to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of eCorner be limited to:

  1. in relation to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; and
  2. in relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.


9. Changes To Terms


Each order is governed by the terms and conditions as shown on this website. eCorner may add to, delete or otherwise change these terms and conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions. Please read the detailed Terms and Conditions pdf.


10. Applicable Law


All purchases, and these terms and conditions, are subject to the laws of New South Wales, Australia.


11. Bandwidth Utilisation - Hosted Cloud Packages


Every hosted store package that is available from eCorner Stores Plus comes with an unlimited capacity bandwidth allocation. This means that we do not limit the amount of traffic (visitors) that can access your store by the package type. We do however set a review limit to ensure that your store does not get affected by crawlers, bots or DDOS attacks. These can also cause an impact on the other users of the system and other stores. You will be notified if the bandwidth usage of the store exceeds 50GB in any month and we will limit access if it exceeds 60GB. It is unusual for even large online stores to use bandwidth of that magnitude and so we use that as one indicator to help us protect your stores and other stores in the system.

Bandwidth allocations for Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and dedicated servers will vary by package and you will find the information available in the package descriptions and service level agreement or work order.


12. Use of Wagtail data and data base statistics


eCorner will, from time to time, provide reports and statistical information that is obtained from the data collected during the operation of the websites hosted by eCorner. This data will contain no personal financial or credit card account data. No individual website or customers will be identified in the creation or distribution of the reports or statistics. By accepting the terms and conditions you are agreeing to allow the use of the aggregated data by eCorner.


13. Credit Card Data and PCI DSS Compliance


eCorner hosting environment and ecommerce software packages are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant, you can find out more from their website at www.pcisecuritystandards.org.

eCorner undergo an annual PCI compliance review using a Qualified Security Audit company which is Hivint. 

PCI DSS requires that you do not store credit card data unencrypted on your website. This includes where credit card information might be added to notes on orders or customer records. eCorner will scan for credit card data on a regular basis and hash out (destroy) the card number that is stored. eCorner reserves the right, without recourse, to take offline any online store that is found to be storing credit card data until the situation has been rectified.

14. Use of latest security measures


There are many potential threats to your online business. Many of these threats are caused by hackers and malicious software.


eCorner employs a range of security methods to stop information being stolen or changed in your website. There is the physical security in our data center and there are also systems and software that make your websites secure.


Systems and software must be regularly updated to keep ahead of the hacker and malware they use.


To protect your business and personal information eCorner must remove older security systems from our servers and install the latest version just like you should update anti-virus software on your own business and personal computers.


Keeping current with the latest security measures may have an impact on visitors accessing your website if they do not use a computer and web browser that is up to date with the security patches and software releases recommended by suppliers like Microsoft and Apple.


eCorner will, at a minimum, support the security protocol called Transport Layer Security Version 1.2 (TLS 1.2). You can read more information about this at our Frequently Asked Question - Security Update.


15. DDOS, terrorism and acts of God

eCorner makes every effort to protect the software and services offered to our customers. However eCorner will not take any legal responsibility for events which are out of its control including malicious DDOS attacks, terrorism or acts of God.

In order to help prevent these sorts of events, eCorner have the right to ban any external system from accessing customer websites if we believe that those systems may be impacting security, performance or accessibility.


16. Free stores from eCorner

All eCorner stores including Free and Trial stores are subject to eCorner's standard terms and conditions, including limitations on use and abuse of our services.

Free stores are designed for use in Australia and New Zealand merchants only. While they may work in other jurisdictions you will be responsible for setting up tax settings, shipping methods and payment gateways, eCorner will not be responsible for making those technical changes for you.

Where a Free store has not be made live using our "Go Live" process within 3 months, or has not been accessed for more than 6 months via the store's merchant back office, eCorner reserves the right to close and delete the store with no notice.

17. #Stayopen 3 Month Free Offer

The #Stayopen offer is only applicable to eCorner Now and eCorner Now Retail packages. There is a 3 month free preiod starting from the date that you sign up for the package. At the end of the free period you will be required to provide a credit card to enable monthly recurring payment for the package until it is cancelled. You will be notified in advance of the end of the free period. If you do not continue with the package the online store will be taken closed, and after 30 days deleted. The offer is only open to businesses or sole traders based in Australia or New Zealand. Each business must provide the full business name, address and contact details and for Australian businesses and sole traders a valid ABN.
