eCorner specialises in eCommerce Web Development delivering customisable and scalable enterprise ecommerce solutions using ePages enterprise. We have extensive experience creating custom features and integrating into a range of ERP, Accounting and Inventory Management systems.
eCorner have been developing eCommerce websites since 2004, and have designed, developed and delivered thousands of websites for Australian businesses of all sizes and types. Successful eCommerce Development requires experience, the right technology and secure infrastructure. There are a number of key factors to consider when making a choice of agency for your eCommerce Project:
While every project is different ranging from simple tweaks to our core platform to full scale re-engineering to meet specific business needs, we work closely with our customers to ensure the solution is designed and implemented to meet your needs as time and cost efficiently as possible.
Why do 50% of development projects fail to be delivered?
Although the reason for failure might be different from project to project there are some common causes. It is not always the developers fault but in most cases good development process and practice can make the difference. A common factor is a lack of defined scope and requirements. So it is a little like setting out to build a house without a plan. The customer who commissioned the project should have defined the requirements and scope however often inexperience leaves the project success to chance. When you are dealing with an experienced development organisation then the project would never get started without defined requirements. Just like a professional builder won't start without a plan.
At eCorner we leave nothing to chance. Each project is started by reviewing the requirements and if necessary helping our customer to define the requirements. Following this process the requirements are reviewed at multiple levels within eCorner to determine that we understand all the issues relating to the project. Once we have broken down the requirements into development tasks we then scope the project and produce a Statement of Work and formal proposal. These are communicated to the customer and then we undertake a requirements workshop to show how we intend to deliver each requirement.
Once we have resolved and agreed the requirements and statement of work we provide a Work Order with Terms and Conditions for the customer to agree. Once the work order is approved we formally initiate the project.
eCorner will then allocate internal resources to the project and undertake a project kick-off meeting. During the course of the development and testing project review meetings are held with the customer to match the work to expectation.
There are practically no limits to the design or scope of your enterprise eCommerce solution. We can modify the software and add features on your behalf. Use your online shop as a catalogue that communicates with your key accounts’ electronic procurement solutions, or have a product configurator built for customised orders. Nothing is impossible.
More importantly ePages can expand as your customer base expands, as your products expand and as your visitors and orders expand. By seamlessly increasing the capabilities of the virtual servers we can handle any volume.
We have developed integrations to many back office systems including a range of ERP solutions, accounting packages, warehouse and inventory software, Point of Sale (POS) systems, payment platforms and shipping/logistics providers.
Using a combination of web services and modern APIs, our team can link to most web-enabled systems to manage and pass order, product, customer and/or transaction data to automate and syncronise your eCommerce website and processes with your back office applications.
