eCorner Upgrade 17th October 2013

eCorner to upgrade ePages environment to V6.15.3

Please be advised that between the hours of 10:00pm on Thursday October 17 and 2:00am on Friday October 18, your eCorner service (website) will be offline as we upgrade our mass-hosted platform. At the completion of the upgrade period, please check your storefront to make sure that everything is running smoothly.

ePages V6.15.3 includes some great new features and a brief summary of the major components follows:

  • New predictive search technology
  • Display special offers or products with the new 'content slider'
  • Multiple 'user defined' form capabilities
  • 'Mega-Menus' to further improve your category structure
  • Support for eWay's Query Transaction Service
  • Delivery cost estimator for 'Basket Weight and Region - Automatic' delivery method
  • The inclusion of an exemption limit (free delivery over $X.XX) for our Australia Post freight calculator
  • Improvements to the WYSIWYG editor
  • Improvements to the Mobile View
  • And more...

Upgrading to ePages Custom Forms
With the introduction of the custom forms capabilities in this new release of ePages, eCorner will remove support for our own 'Custom Form' functionality in coming months. If you use our custom form feature, you will need to:

  • Re-build your existing custom form using the new ePages feature
  • Switch over to the new form
  • Remove your old custom form

Implementing eWay Query Transaction Service
To take advantage of the new support for eWay's Query Transaction service (which decreases the likelihood of duplicate transactions), you need to update your eWay User ID and password via the ePages back office. If you get stuck at any stage in the process, please contact your account representative or our technical support team.
